FAQ
- What is a Worker-vCPU?
-
Nodes which are running customers workload are called worker nodes. vCPUs which are attached to these worker nodes are Worker-vCPUs.
- What has changed with the new price model?
-
-
We have completely new Service Levels, replacing the old ones (Standard, Professional and Premium).
-
The pricing has been reworked and simplified. Now only Worker-vCPUs are counted, there is no cluster fee anymore.
-
Isovalent Cilium Enterprise is included in the price, it’s not an add-on anymore.
-
The "VSHN Certified Service Provider (VCSP)" idea is gone, replaced by well-defined supported Cloud Service Providers (CSP).
-
The pricing is public and even features a nice price calculator.
-
- I’m an existing customer, can I switch?
-
Yes. We intend to switch all current customers to this new price model. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.
