On-demand engineering to extend and improve your Solution.
Enabling Conditions
The fine print that we emphasize—because it’s essential for successful collaboration.
While we embrace DevOps—collaboration between Developers and Operations Engineers—clear boundaries are necessary to ensure clarity and empower everyone to focus on delivering business value. The following points are essential, and without agreement on these, we cannot guarantee successful collaboration.
- We need
-
-
Your input to understand your business case or the business process behind the application.
-
The ability to collaborate with your developers, software architects, or application specialists. If third-party applications or code are involved, we require good documentation, code access, and access to the developers’ technical support. These details must be clarified before we begin—we’ll guide you through this process.
-
Access to your code—not your data. We’re used to working in environments that separate dummy, test, and production data. We won’t change your application, but we may need to inspect parts of the code to better understand it.
-
- We are
-
-
Delivering results—not body-leasing: VSHNeers (our engineers) work for VSHN. While hourly billing is standard in the industry, we don’t rent out our engineers. Instead, we agree on the scope of workshops, epics, and tasks, and deliver results iteratively (we use Scrum), offering concepts and solutions to your specific needs.
-
We might be wrong: We may underestimate the effort or require more time or collaboration than originally planned. We live agility—we’ll work with you to adapt, while helping you stay in control of costs.
-
Focused on building Solutions that we can collaboratively operate and support. We do not offer guaranteed support for setups built outside of this collaboration or not covered by a documented solution. Our aim is to stay in the loop—so you never have to re-explain your setup for each support request.
